"If you could have any superpower, what would it be?"

When I was little and people asked me this, my answer was always, "That I would be able to take photos with my eyes - just flash them in an instant and not miss a second."

I've always loved taking pictures. I love the idea of capturing moments simply as they happen - a knowing look, a classic expression, bursts of laughter, people doing what they love, the way the light hits your face as the sun is going down, friendship, family. I love that you can freeze time just for a second. And more than anything, I love the stories you can tell in that remarkable blend of light and digital pixels.

It's been a while since I had a camera - I've been getting by with my iPhone 7. You'll see a couple of those pictures in my portfolio because those are still some of my favorite moments.

But, recently I saved up and bought a camera, and I'm excited to meet new people and start capturing other people's moments (big & small). 

I'm still learning, but just starting and looking forward to seeing where this leads.
